Stiftung Warentest awards Beurer GL 48 a rating of 1.8

The Beurer GL 48 mg/dL Blood Glucose Monitor and the equivalent GL 48 mmol/L version have been awarded the rating "GOOD" (1.8) by Stiftung Warentest in the current 11/2024 edition.

The independent consumer organisation tested a total of 11 blood glucose monitors; the features tested included the accuracy of the blood glucose measurement, handling, technology and basic protection of personal data. The Beurer GL 48 Blood Glucose Monitor impressed in these categories and thus secured the quality assessment "GOOD" (1.8).

The GL 48 mg/dL and GL 48 mmol/L Blood Pressure Monitors are equivalent products and can be used to measure blood glucose quickly and easily. The extra-wide test strips make them easy to use. The coloured target range scale and display also help you to interpret the measurement. The measured values can also be recorded in an electronic diary using the free "beurer HealthManager Pro" app using the "Scan & Save" function.
