The air is cleaned using a three-layered filter system (pre-filter + HEPA H13 filter* + activated carbon). This reliably filters pollen, domestic dust, animal hair and germs from the air, which can make a big difference, especially for allergy sufferers.

With a height of 50.5 cm and a diameter of just 21.5 cm, the LR 401 Air Purifier from Beurer fits in any room. Its anthracite fabric cover gives it a modern look and makes it a real eye-catcher.
With the “beurer FreshHome” app, the air purifier can also be controlled from a smartphone when you’re on the move. The app lets you control the air purifier from anywhere and includes many handy features, such as checking the air quality indoors in real time or setting specific air cleaning plans.
Powerful air cleaning
Tests show that the three-layered filter system with a HEPA H13 filter removes at least 95% of particles with a size of 0.02 μm (viruses are generally 0.02-0.3 μm in size).2) For particles ≥ 0.3 μm in size, the filter performance reaches up to 99.95%.
In addition to room size, the purifying speed also plays a decisive role when selecting an air purifier. The clean air delivery rate (CADR) shows you at a glance how many cubic metres of air are purified in one hour. The higher the CADR value, the more efficient the air purifier.

Tips for correct positioning of the LR 401
- Position the air purifier purposefully in the room in which the air is to be cleaned, and this should be a room in which people often spend time
- Do not place the device in adjacent rooms, such as the dining room or hallway
- Rooms that are particularly suitable for an air purifier: Living room, bedroom, study
- Place the air purifier on the floor, as there is usually a higher concentration of pollutants there
- Place the device in a recess (e.g. between a wall and a chest of drawers) so that the cleaned air is only able to flow out upwards
- This can also cause air to be drawn inwards at the lower part of the device, which increases air intake
- If the air purifier is at the same height or higher than the furniture around it, the cleaned air can flow over the other objects for more efficient air cleaning
- If the air purifier is lower than the surrounding furniture, it may draw in the cleaned air again straight away
- Pay special attention to furniture with a side wall, such as a couch, bed, desk
