Reliable measurement during pregnancy
The measurement accuracy of the BM 28 from Beurer was confirmed by a clinical validation study in pregnant subjects – even when the pregnant women were diagnosed with arterial hypertension or preeclampsia.
Safe and controlled blood pressure and pulse measurement at home
Risk indicator
Using a coloured traffic light scale, the risk indicator shows the range in which the measured heart rate and blood pressure values are located. This makes the results easy to recognise and interpret at a glance. The classification of the values into the respective colour ranges is presented in the instructions for use.
Resting indicator
One of the most common errors during blood pressure measurement is that there is insufficient circulatory rest at the time of measurement. Therefore, the BM 28 uses Haemodynamic Stability Diagnostics (HSD) to check whether the blood pressure was measured under sufficient circulatory rest and whether the result is thus meaningful.
Cuff fit control
For an accurate and correct pulse and blood pressure measurement, the cuff must not be too loose. Thanks to the cuff fit control of the BM 28, which indicates by means of a symbol whether the cuff is tight enough, measurement errors can be identified and corrected more quickly.

The Beurer BM 28 Upper Arm Blood Pressure Monitor has a universal cuff that is also suitable for larger upper arm circumferences up to 42 cm. The resting indicator shows you whether haemodynamic stability is achieved during the measurement and the measured values are therefore comparable. The integrated cuff fit check provides added peace of mind about the accuracy of the measured blood pressure values during every measurement. In addition, the measurement accuracy of the BM 28, including during pregnancy, has been confirmed by a clinical validation study.
