“Scan & Save” can now also be used for blood glucose values

Ulm-based health specialist Beurer is expanding the functionality of its app "beurer HealthManager Pro" and is extending the "Scan & Save" tool to blood glucose monitors. Beurer will present the update to visitors at the International Radio Exhibition (IFA) in Berlin. It represents the Ulm-based health specialist's solution for simple and convenient digital recording of vital blood glucose values, and offers an easy way for customers to continuously monitor and interpret blood glucose levels.

Blood glucose measurement is an essential part of modern healthcare. For people with diabetes or prediabetic conditions in particular, regular measurement and documentation of blood glucose levels is crucial. Currently anyone who has a blood glucose monitor not equipped with Bluetooth®, such as the Beurer GL 49, must record the measured values manually and can digitise them only with some difficulty.

The app "beurer HealthManager Pro" with"Scan & Save" means that digital management of blood glucose values is now possible even without Bluetooth®.
The measured values on the blood glucose monitor are simply scanned using the smartphone camera and automatically saved in the app. The user is then able to document, monitor and analyse the results in the app. If necessary, they can be directly and straightforwardly discussed with a doctor.

With its app "beurer HealthManager Pro", Ulm-based health specialist Beurer offers comprehensive health management that brings together data such as blood glucose, blood pressure, weight, oxygen saturation, activity and temperature.
