Yes, we recommend cleaning the insect bite healer before and after use. Use a soft, dry cloth for this purpose.

Note: The device must not be cleaned in the dishwasher.

It is best to apply the application directly after the sting or after noting the sting. If necessary, you can reapply the insect bite healer after a pause of 2 minutes on the sting/bite, or also immediately at a further sting/bite at another spot. The maximum number of applications per hour at the same treatment spot should not exceed 5.

Basically, the insect bite healer can also be used on freshly shaved skin. On freshly tattooed skin, the device must not be used.

No, rechargeable batteries should not be used.

No, muting the tone is not possible.

The activation button must only be briefly pressed. If the button is held for longer than 2 seconds, the emergency shutdown is activated.

The bite reliever functions by providing heat therapy (local hyperthermia) at the affected area.

The use of the insect bite healer is suitable for all persons from 3 years under supervision, while self-application is possible for all persons from 12 years.

In contraindications, the insect bite healer should not be used:

• Do not use the device if you suffer from diabetes. The pain perception could be altered under circumstances and diabetics might misjudge burns.

• Do not use the device on acutely or chronically ill (inflamed or infected) skin (e.g., painful and painless inflammations, rashes, skin eruptions (e.g., allergies), burns, frostbite, bruises, swellings (without signs of an insect sting/bite) and on open as well as healing wounds, on surgical scars that are in the healing process).
• Do not use the device if you are suffering from fever.
• Do not use the device on sensitive skin areas.
• Do not use the device in all sensitivity reactions with reduced pain perception (such as fabric softener reactions).
• Do not use the device simultaneously with local application of ointments, creams, and gels.
• Do not use the device at a skin site with persistent skin irritation due to prolonged heat exposure at the same skin site.

The integrated heating plate can reach up to 52 °C.
