Natural family planning made easy – cycle tracking with ovulation thermometer and app

Natural methods for cycle tracking and targeted family planning are now easier than ever. The Beurer ovulation thermometer's modern temperature measurement technology, combined with a cycle app developed by health technology start-up, Ovy, gives you a whole new way of tracking the days you are more or less likely to conceive. Exact measurements allow you to better plan your pregnancy or just reliably track your cycle. Beurer is introducing two new ovulation thermometers at the IFA.

The Beurer OT 30 and OT 20 ovulation thermometers, together with the Ovy app, use the scientifically recognised symptothermal method to track the ovulation day, the fertile window, as well as the next period. Various symptoms including the basal temperature and other influencing factors are noted down daily in the app so that the cycle can be calculated as accurately as possible. As well as this, the app offers recommendations for nutrition and fitness during your cycle.

OT 30 – the next-generation ovulation thermometer with Bluetooth®
Natural family planning has never been so easy! The new OT 30 ovulation thermometer can send temperature values to the Ovy app automatically using Bluetooth®. This saves having to note values down on paper, a previously time-consuming process in which mistakes were often made. Measurements can be taken orally or vaginally. The OT 30 is a medical device and is a cut above the rest with its high measurement accuracy (±0.05°C: 35.00°C – 38.00°C at an ambient temperature of 18°C – 28°C). It shows the values precisely to two decimal places in °C or °F. The ovulation thermometer is waterproof, can be disinfected and has 30 memory spaces.

OT 20 – the classic ovulation thermometer
Beurer offers the OT 20 ovulation thermometer as an entry-level model. Its measurements are just as accurate as the OT 30 (±0.05°C: 35.00°C – 38.00°C at an ambient temperature of 18°C – 28°C), and it can also be used with the Ovy app. The measurements can be taken orally or vaginally and entered into the app manually. The ovulation thermometer is also a medical device. The extra-large display shows the values precisely to two decimal places in °C. The product is waterproof, can be disinfected and has a memory space.

Beurer is presenting new products across all product areas at the IFA 2018. All of the highlights will be on show at Beurer's booth from 31 August to 5 September 2018 in hall 4.1, booth 212.
