The Beurer EM 59 offers you multiple different functionalities: Transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation (TENS) for drug-free pain relief, electrical muscle stimulation (EMS) for muscle training or regeneration, a massage function and a heat programme.

Pain therapy

Drug-free and side-effect-free pain relief with 64 pre-programmed application settings and 6 individually adjustable TENS/EMS programmes.

Muscle training

Through EMS, the muscle tissue is stimulated, stretched and strengthened. This improves circulation and helps with the reinforcement and rehabilitation of weakened muscles.

Generally speaking, I’m really happy with the device. However, I’m a bit annoyed that there don’t seem to be any new (larger) electrodes available for it. Otherwise, it’s brilliant.
