1. Install the app "Beurer BabyCare" on your mobile device.
2. Upon first activation of the baby scales, the display will show the "APP" notification for 120 seconds. During this time, you can activate the Bluetooth^® function on your mobile device and open the app.
3. Subsequently, you can select the baby scales in the app under the "Devices" menu item and it will be added to the app.
4. If you wish to initially connect the baby scales with the app, after the "APP" notification has disappeared following the 120 seconds, simply press the Bluetooth^® button on the scales.
5. Once the scales are successfully connected to the app, the Bluetooth^® symbol will appear on the display. Subsequently, the data will be automatically transferred.

To transfer the measured weight into the app, press the Bluetooth^® button after a successful measurement. The values will be transferred to the app as soon as the scale is connected with the app via Bluetooth^®. After a successful transfer, the baby scale will switch off automatically. In the app, you will subsequently find all the newly transmitted measurements. These can then be assigned to the desired baby profile and thus be added to the timeline of the app.

Please check whether you have activated the Bluetooth^® function on your mobile device and press the Bluetooth^® button on the baby carriage. If no Bluetooth^® connection can be established, it may be due to several reasons:

• The minimum range in open field is approximately 15 metres. Walls and ceilings reduce the range.
• Check if you currently have an active Bluetooth^® connection to other devices such as smartwatches, fitness trackers or other gadgets. Disconnect this connection or move the corresponding device outside the Bluetooth^® range.
• Other radio waves may interfere with the transmission. Therefore, do not place the carriage near devices such as Wi-Fi routers, microwaves, induction cooktops.
• You have no connection to the app. Close the app completely (also in the background). Turn Bluetooth^® off and on again. Turn the smartphone off and on again. Briefly remove the batteries in the baby carriage, reinsert them and synchronise again.

In the profile area of the app "beurer BabyCare" you can create numerous baby profiles at will. The baby scales transfer all recorded measurements into the app. There you can then assign the respective measurements to the desired baby profile.

On the back of the baby carriage, you will find a unit controller with which you can adjust the weight unit.

This error message has two possible causes: 1. The scale is not on a level, solid floor. Please place the scale on a level, solid floor and ensure that your baby does not wriggle. Reset the baby scale. 2. The maximum load of 20 kg was exceeded. Please unload the scale.

When the "APP" is displayed for 120 seconds, the baby scale has not yet been synchronised with the app. All messages passed through without prior synchronisation cannot be transferred to the app "BabyCare". Therefore, connect the baby scale with the app. To use the scale without the app, press a random button on the baby scale and the display "APP" will disappear.

It is possible to store up to 10 messages securely.

The baby scale features a tare function. If you place a towel or other weights on the already switched-on scale, which you might want to remove before the weighing process, you can also use the TARE function. After you have pressed the TARE button, "TARE" will be displayed. To reset the scale to "0.000 kg", you must remove the towel or additional weight from the scale and press the TARE button again.

The baby scale features an AUTO HOLD and MECHANICAL HOLD function. The standard activated AUTO HOLD function secures the baby's weight as soon as it is still enough to obtain an accurate measurement. If the baby moves significantly, no weight can be determined. Try to calm the wriggling baby to achieve a quick measurement. However, do not touch the baby to not influence the weight measurement. Once the baby's weight is secured, the display will start blinking "HOLD" and the weight is shown for 120 seconds. If the baby is very active, you can select the MECHANICAL HOLD function by pressing the HOLD button. After 5 seconds, the HOLD display will start to blink and the weight is shown for 120 seconds.

Yes, the scale can also be used without an app. Without the app, the measurements cannot be transferred.

To ensure an accurate weight measurement, please observe the following guidelines:

• Place the scale on a level, solid surface and ensure that your baby lies still on the scale.
• An uneven or soft surface can lead to inaccuracies in the measurement.
• If your baby moves during the measurement, use the HOLD function and try to calm your little one.
• The scale can have an incorrect zero point. Turn off the baby scale and turn it on again. Wait until the scale displays '0.000 kg' and then repeat the measurement.
