Monitor your health with a pocket-sized device

Couple measure oxygen levels with a pulse oximeter while hiking
Our body’s oxygen requirements

The human body needs approx. 400 litres of oxygen (O₂) each day. Oxygen keeps the cells in your body alive and functioning. Transporting this amount of oxygen requires a “carrier” – haemoglobin, which is responsible for storing oxygen. The organs are supplied with oxygen through this via the bloodstream.

Simple, pain-free measurement

Pulse oximetry, a cutting-edge measurement method, allows oxygen saturation levels to be measured without having to take blood samples. Conclusions about oxygen saturation levels can be made on the basis of the colour of the blood.

Measurement of oxygen saturation and pulse simply on the finger
Small and handy

The pulse oximeter impresses with its compact size and therefore fits in any pocket. This means you can keep an eye on your arterial oxygen saturation (SpO2) and heart rate (pulse) at all times, even when travelling. The strap and practical belt pouch prevent you from having to search for or lose the pulse oximeter.

Suitable for sports at high altitudes

For healthy people, use of a pulse oximeter may be helpful in situations where the oxygen content of the ambient air is or may be reduced. e.g. during alpine sports. In these situations, low oxygen saturation may directly lead to hazardous health risks because oxygen saturation values must be interpreted differently at high altitudes.
