Intelligent automatic mode
The LR 401 has an intelligent automatic mode. It detects and analyses the quality of the current ambient air and adapts its cleaning performance precisely to this. The status can be monitored at any time in the associated “beurer FreshHome” app.
Powerful filters
The sucked-in air passes through a three-layered filter system that filters particles as small as 0.02 μm. This concerns 99.95% of airborne particles (e.g. bacteria, viruses, fine dust and pollen).
Suitable for large rooms
The CADR (Clean Air Delivery Rate) cleaning speed is approx. 266 m3/h1). The air purifier is therefore ideally suited to supplying even large rooms of up to 69 m2 with fresh, filtered air. 1) NRCC-54013-2011
Powerful air purification
Test show: the three-layer filter system with HEPA H13 filter filters particles with a size of 0.02 μm (viruses usually have a size of 0.02-0.3 μm) by at least 95 %2). Particles with a size ≥ 0.3 μm are even filtered out up to 99.95 %.
When choosing an air purifier the size of the room, the cleaning speed also plays a decisive role. The Clean Air Delivery Rate (CADR) shows you at a glance how many cubic metres of air are purified in one hour. The higher the CADR value of the air purifier, the more efficient the air purifier is.

Tips for correct positioning of the LR 401
CHOOSE THE RIGHT ROOM
- Position the air purifier purposefully in the room in which the air is to be cleaned, and this should be a room in which people often spend time
- Do not place the device in adjacent rooms, such as the dining room or hallway
- Rooms that are particularly suitable for an air purifier: Living room, bedroom, study
MAKE THE MOST OF THE CHIMNEY EFFECT
- Place the air purifier on the floor, as there is usually a higher concentration of pollutants there
- Place the device in a recess (e.g. between a wall and a chest of drawers) so that the cleaned air is only able to flow out upward
- This can also cause air to be drawn inwards at the lower part of the device, which increases air intake
BE AWARE OF SURROUNDING OBJECTS
- If the air purifier is at the same height or higher than the furniture around it, the cleaned air can flow over the other objects for more efficient air cleaning
- If the air purifier is lower than the surrounding furniture, it may draw in the cleaned air again straight away
- Pay special attention to furniture with a side wall, such as a couch, bed, desk
