Beurer Fascia-ReleaZer® at top-class sports

Justin Gatlin wins the gold medal in the 100m sprint at the 2017 World Championship versus sport legend Usain Bolt. Despite all expectations, Usain Bolt was unable to defeat Justin Gatlin (gold) and Christian Coleman (silver) in what was his last dramatic run at the end of his career.

How can you prepare your fascia during the training phase for such an exceptional performance and keep them resilient for the duration of a tournament? Many world athletes like Justin Gatlin and Canadian Aaron Brown use the Beurer Fascia-ReleaZer® for this purpose.

Gatlin & Brown using Beurer FasciaReleaZer

Brown, who won the bronze medal in the 4x100m relay at the 2016 Summer Olympics says: "Anytime I have aches in my leg, I use the fascia release stick because I love the way my body responds to the tool. It has become a staple in my rehabilitation arsenal and I bring it with me all around the world to my races."

With its unique and new method of vibro-shearing, the Fascia-ReleaZer® helps to loosen fascia bonding and regenerates the muscle tissue. Scientific studies substantiate the fact, that the perfusion significantly improves the flexibility and agility.

Christopher Gordon is the inventor of the Fascia-ReleaZer® and developed this tool together with Beurer. He is the owner of the center of integrative therapy (CIT) in Stuttgart, Germany and has used his 30 years of expertise to develop the interdisciplinary Fascia Therapy (IFT). BM 55 named blood pressure monitor of the year 2017

Blutdruckmessgerät des Jahres

For the sixth time, the title of "Blood pressure monitor of the year" goes to Beurer. This year "Der Deutsche Apotheker" (The German Pharmacist) presented the special award to the Beurer BM 55 blood pressure monitor.
"Der Deutsche Apotheker" praised the very high measurement accuracy, simple use and safe monitoring of blood pressure in particular.

The BM 55 blood pressure monitor with innovative design, sensor-touch buttons and extra-large, white illuminated display provides completely automatic blood pressure and pulse measurement on the upper arm.

Due to the patented resting indicator*, the user is provided with feedback in the form of coloured symbols as to whether the measurement was taken when they were sufficiently rested mentally and physically. This enables precise measurement. The measurements are also classified in terms of colour to aid interpretation. The medical device's arrhythmia detection warns of possible cardiac arrhythmia. The measurements can be transferred to a computer simply and easily thanks to the interface and the USB cable. In the free "beurer HealthManager" software, the values can be managed simply and conveniently, and displayed as progress graphics and tables with measured values. Modern health management.

Beurer Logistics Centre celebrates anniversary

Uttenweiler

The Beurer Logistics Centre in Uttenweiler has been an integral part of Beurer GmbH for five years, and will celebrate its anniversary on 19 April 2017. Since its opening in 2012, the storage area has been expanded by 5,850 m² and today covers a total area of 16,380 m², comprising 21,000 pallet storage spaces. Over the last five years, the number of overseas containers unloaded each day has doubled.

Today, 80 employees and five trainees handle the logistical challenges. Each day, approximately 33,000 products in around 600 packages and on 250 pallets are dispatched across Europe, while six 40' containers arrive at the Goods Receipt department each day – twice as many as was possible five years ago.

Over the last five years, replacement parts shipping and a portion of the customer service goods have been relocated from the headquarters in Ulm to the Logistics Centre in Uttenweiler, 50 km away. This enables Beurer to continue adhering to the high quality standards with regards to replacement parts and customer service goods in the future. A further development is the expansion of the photovoltaic complex and with it, an investment in renewable energy as a way of boosting our eco-friendly credentials.
