Beurer is the "Most Innovative Brand" at the Plus X Award for the sixth year in a row

Beurer's success at the Plus X Award continues. For the sixth year in a row, the Ulm-based healthcare specialist has been named the "Most Innovative Brand of the Year" in the "Health and Personal Care" product group. The awards ceremony took place in Bonn on 23 June.

The Beurer products that contributed to Beurer being awarded this title included the UB 68 XXL double electric underblanket, the BC 57 wrist blood pressure monitor, the BM 57 upper arm blood pressure monitor, the ME 90 mobile ECG device, the FC 76 microdermabrasion device, the HC 50 hair dryer, the IPL 10000+ SalonPro System, the SE 80 SleepExpert sleep sensor, the TL 50 brightlight and the WL 90 4-in-1 wake-up light.

"With over 500 products, we have an extensive selection of health and well-being solutions. We are proud that we were able to impress across numerous categories and were therefore commended as a brand and not just recognised for individual products," says Managing Director Georg Walkenbach, who accepted the award at the Plus X Award Gala on 23 June in Bonn.

After being awarded various seals of approval for ten Beurer products in January, being named "Specialist Retail Brand of the Year" and winning the title of "Best Product of the Year" for the sixth time, the award for "Most Innovative Brand of the Year" marks Beurer's fourth achievement at the Plus X Awards 2016. This most prestigious commendation of the competition is awarded to the brands that have the most seals of approval within a product group.

Beurer named "Best Design Brand 2016/2017"

For the third time in a row, Beurer has won the Plus X Award for "Best Design Brand". The Ulm-based healthcare specialist therefore highlights once again that form and function are at the forefront of its products.

In the "Health & Personal Care" product group, no other brand was able to win more seals of approval in the "Design" category than Beurer, meaning that the special award "Best Design Brand 2016/2017" once again comes to Ulm. The following were honoured for their design by the expert panel: the Beurer BM 57 upper arm blood pressure monitor, the FC 76 microdermabrasion device, the HC 50 hair dryer, the IPL 10000+ SalonPro System hair removal device, the TL 50 brightlight and the WL 90 4-in-1 wake-up light.

Beste Designmarke 2016

"In addition to numerous seals of approval for functionality, high quality or ease of use, our products scored this year once again with their design. Especially when it comes to home use, which our products are tailored towards, the product must also win the customer over visually. This is why we collaborate intensively with different product designers in order to be able to provide our customers with elegant solutions with the same consistent level of high quality," says Kerstin Glanzer, Head of Marketing, about the renewed success.

Beurer awarded with Special Retailers' Award of the Year 2016

Plus X Award Fachhandelsmarke 2016

This year, the special Plus X Awards for 'Special Retailers' Award of the Year 2016' and 'Special Traders' Award of the Year 2016', which are given directly by specialist retailers and the specialist trade, were awarded for the first time.

With these two special awards, the Plus X Award highlights brands which, through the concepts they develop, act as a strong partner to specialist retailers and the specialist trade. Germany's specialist retailers and specialist trade were asked to cast their votes in an online poll. 4,684 votes were cast, resulting in 13 brands in total scooping a special award. Beurer won the 'Special Retailers' Award of the Year 2016' in the 'Health & Personal Care' product group.

"Our specialist retailers have been important and reliable partners to us for years. It is therefore a great honour for us to receive an award from them," commented Kerstin Glanzer, Head of Marketing at Beurer GmbH.

The official award ceremony will take place in Bonn on 23 June.
