For the sixth time, the title of "Blood pressure monitor of the year" goes to Beurer. This year "Der Deutsche Apotheker" (The German Pharmacist) presented the special award to the Beurer BM 55 blood pressure monitor.
"Der Deutsche Apotheker" praised the very high measurement accuracy, simple use and safe monitoring of blood pressure in particular.

The BM 55 blood pressure monitor with innovative design, sensor-touch buttons and extra-large, white illuminated display provides completely automatic blood pressure and pulse measurement on the upper arm.

Due to the patented resting indicator*, the user is provided with feedback in the form of coloured symbols as to whether the measurement was taken when they were sufficiently rested mentally and physically. This enables precise measurement. The measurements are also classified in terms of colour to aid interpretation. The medical device's arrhythmia detection warns of possible cardiac arrhythmia. The measurements can be transferred to a computer simply and easily thanks to the interface and the USB cable. Outstanding: Beurer wins the German Brand Award

This year Beurer has won the German Brand Award for the first time. The award, which was set up by the German Design Council and the German Brand Institute recognises successful brands, consistent brand management and sustainable brand communication. Beurer's Managing Director Marco Bühler accepted the prize yesterday evening at the official award ceremony in Berlin.

Beurer prevailed as the "winner" in the "Medical & Health" category in the "Industry Excellence in Branding" competition class. Over its almost 100 years of history, the Ulm-based company has established itself as a solid brand in the healthcare sector thanks to a high degree of innovation, its homogeneous look and high functionality and ease of use.

"Brands offer consumers a focus when faced with vast diversity. They stand for quality, innovation and tradition in equal measures. We are delighted that an independent expert jury has recognised these qualities in us," Marco Bühler, Managing Director of Beurer GmbH, said about receiving the German Brand Award.

Beurer Open House Tour 2017: Helsinki, Stockholm and Warsaw

Helsinki, Stockholm and Warsaw – these are the stations of the exclusive and international Beurer Open House Tour 2017, which will take place in May and June 2017.

True to the slogan "life is a stage", Beurer will present its complete product range to its visitors in three extraordinary and elegant locations for a period of one to two weeks. Specialist retailers and media representatives will gain exclusive insights into the variety of the product range and can see the products in action for themselves.

The tour begins on 4 May 2017, when Beurer will open the doors to the Open House in Helsinki until 10 May. The Open House then moves to Stockholm from 15 to 19 May. And the final stage of this year's tour is expected to take place in Warsaw from 29 May to 2 June.

Beurer Logistics Centre celebrates anniversary


The Beurer Logistics Centre in Uttenweiler has been an integral part of Beurer GmbH for five years, and will celebrate its anniversary on 19 April 2017. Since its opening in 2012, the storage area has been expanded by 5,850 m² and today covers a total area of 16,380 m², comprising 21,000 pallet storage spaces. Over the last five years, the number of overseas containers unloaded each day has doubled.


Today, 80 employees and five trainees handle the logistical challenges. Each day, approximately 33,000 products in around 600 packages and on 250 pallets are dispatched across Europe, while six 40' containers arrive at the Goods Receipt department each day – twice as many as was possible five years ago.

Over the last five years, replacement parts shipping and a portion of the customer service goods have been relocated from the headquarters in Ulm to the Logistics Centre in Uttenweiler, 50 km away. This enables Beurer to continue adhering to the high quality standards with regards to replacement parts and customer service goods in the future. A further development is the expansion of the photovoltaic complex and with it, an investment in renewable energy as a way of boosting our eco-friendly credentials.
