Air purifiers should be positioned so that air intake and air exhaust are unobstructed. Protect the device from moisture, dust, direct sunlight, and proximity to heat sources (heaters, ovens, flames). Do not cover the device. The devices are exclusively intended for domestic use. Do not use the device outdoors.

Primarily, we advise against the use of a timer switch with electronic devices, as the timer switch continuously operates with electricity. Consequently, there is also a constant flow of electricity even when the device appears to be turned off. Moreover, not all devices can retain the last settings of the air purification system. Therefore, the device cannot be automatically turned on at a later point in time.

Please check before deciding to consult the advice of the local health authority regarding handling potentially infected surfaces. Ensure the filter is replaced using a funnel and wash your hands thoroughly afterwards.

• Ensure whether a foreign body is present in the air inlet/outlet.
• Clean the filters.
• Make sure the filters are correctly installed.
• Position the air purifier on a flat surface.

The cover is not fully on the foot. There is salt or water on the sensors. Clean the metal rods with a diluted water-vinegar solution.

Normal tap water can be used for watering the plants.

Use maremed® only with the maremed® Special Seawater. Use maremed® with no other salts! The maremed® can be damaged by other salts. Also, do not add any aromatic oils or fragrances into the tub. The synthetic material can potentially be corroded and damaged when exposed to other additives.

The fan begins to start after 3 minutes, as first the water in the water tray is dehumed before the fan draws in the air.

• There is no water in the bathtub.
• The plug is not connected.
• The cover does not sit completely on the housing.

As soon as the 0 is displayed, the device is in continuous operation.

The UVC lamp must be replaced. Remove the UVC lamp as described in the instructions. Then simultaneously press the ventilator symbol and the ON/OFF button. Thus, the setting is reset.

The filters must be changed. Remove the filters as described in the instructions. Then press the Timer symbol and the ON/OFF button simultaneously. This resets the setting.

We recommend replacing the water filter and the pre-filters after 2,200 operating hours. After 2,200 operating hours, the filter change indicator will light up on the touch display. Note: The UVC lamp can slightly brown the water filter. Moreover, with regular usage, small salt crystals can form on the water filter.

The maremed® has a total of 3 fan speeds. Choose your desired fan speed with the FAN key. The currently set fan speed is displayed on the touch display.

With the timer function, you can set after how many hours of use the maremed® should automatically switch off. You can set the timer from 1 to 24 hours.

• To set the timer, press the TIMER button as often until your desired hour value (e.g., 02) appears on the touch display. The timer indicator will start to glow continuously. The maremed® now automatically switches off after the set number of hours has elapsed.
• Note: When the timer function is activated, you can still adjust the fan speed or add the sleep function during this time.

Clean and rinse the bath after each use with an enhanced water-essence solution! Clean the water filter after each use under clear running water! If you do not operate the maremed® for a longer period, let the water filter and the open bath dry in the air for a week. Inadequate cleaning and hygiene could allow bacteria, algae, and fungi to form in the water and on the water filter.

During a typical application of 12 hours, approximately 90 days.

There are approximately 50 µg/Litre of iodine contained in the solution in the device.

The product consists of various salts and trace elements such as Sodium Chloride, Magnesium Chloride, Calcium, and other trace elements.

The UVC lamp should be replaced after 5,000 operating hours. After 5,000 hours of operation and if the UVC lamp is defective, the lamp symbol lights up on the touch display.

The UVC light eliminates up to 99% of bacteria, viruses, and microorganisms from the water. For safety reasons, the UVC lamp switches off as soon as the cover is lifted.

The maremed® possesses a Sleep function. As soon as the Sleep function is activated, the touch display switches off.

1. To activate the Sleep function, press the SLEEP button. The SLEEP button begins to blink for 5 seconds. After the 5 seconds, the Sleep function is activated. Now only the SLEEP button and the ON/OFF button can be operated.
2. To deactivate the Sleep function, briefly press the SLEEP button. The touch display begins to light up again and all buttons can be operated again.

Note: The UVC lamp remains on in the Sleep function. If you prefer a complete shutdown, you can also switch off the UVC lamp.

1. To switch off the UVC lamp, hold the SLEEP button for 5 seconds. After switching off the UVC lamp, 99% germ-free can no longer be guaranteed.
2. To switch the UVC lamp back on, hold the SLEEP button for 5 seconds again.

The salts for the marine climate come from Europe, only a small part from South America.

On the lowest setting, the noise level is below 29 dB and on the highest observation level 37 dB. Measured at a distance of one meter.
