With a press of a button, the programme starts with a duration of 3 seconds. If the button is pressed twice in succession, the programme starts with a duration of 6 seconds. Switching from the 6-second programme to the shorter one is not possible. Turn the device off briefly or wait until the programme has run its course to start the 3-second programme.

Yes, we recommend cleaning the insect bite healer before and after use. Use a soft, dry cloth for this purpose.

Note: The device must not be cleaned in the dishwasher.

It is best to apply the application directly after the sting or after noting the sting. If necessary, you can reapply the insect bite healer after a pause of 2 minutes on the sting/bite, or also immediately at a further sting/bite at another spot. • Do not use the device if you suffer from diabetes. The pain perception could be altered under circumstances and diabetics might misjudge burns.
• Do not use the device on helpless individuals, children under 3 years, or persons with impaired heat perception. This includes individuals with skin conditions or burnt skin areas in the application area, after taking pain-relieving medications, alcohol or drugs.
• Do not use the device on acutely or chronically ill (inflamed or infected) skin (e.g., painful and painless inflammations, rashes, skin eruptions (e.g., allergies), burns, frostbite, bruises, swellings (without signs of an insect sting/bite) and on open as well as healing wounds, on surgical scars that are in the healing process).
• Do not use the device if you are suffering from fever.
• Do not use the device on sensitive skin areas.
• Do not use the device in all sensitivity reactions with reduced pain perception (such as fabric softener reactions).
• Do not use the device simultaneously with local application of ointments, creams, and gels.
• Do not use the device at a skin site with persistent skin irritation due to prolonged heat exposure at the same skin site.
