Hair treatment
After 3-4 treatments, a hair reduction of up to 50% can be achieved. For hair treatments, you achieve the best results with 4 treatments spaced 2 weeks apart, followed by 3 treatments spaced 4 weeks apart. Afterwards, you repeat the treatment as needed.

Facial treatment
With a treatment on the face, you achieve the best results through 6 treatments spaced 2 weeks apart, followed by further applications spaced 4 weeks apart. Then you repeat the treatment as needed.

• Your skin should be clean, dry, and shaved.
• Do not apply creams, deodorants, or cosmetic products before the treatment.
• For each body part you wish to treat, you should perform a skin compatibility test 48 hours before the complete treatment.
• Moreover, you should protect the skin areas to be treated from sun exposure for at least 2 weeks before the application.

Use of contact gel is not necessary. Contact gel would damage the device.

Our products use clinically tested technology. However, electronic devices must be used in accordance with the usage instructions and considering the safety evidence for users.

Make sure that the treatment head lies completely flat on the skin. Please check whether your hair and skin type is suitable for treatment with the IPL device or if you have acquired a darker skin type from sunbathing, making the application not as effective as usual.

Please only use on the following body parts:

• Legs
• Elbows
• Arms
• Bikini zone
• Below the cheekbones on the face
• When using on the face, the eye area must be spared: the IPL device should not be used around the eyes or on the eyes.

When using in the intimate area, please choose a lower energy level.

Do not use on:

• Sun spots, liver spots and freckles
• Tattooed skin parts
• Breast tissue and around the nipple
• Genitals and mucous membranes (vulva, inner labia, anus) / (scrotum, penis) as well as on the anus
• Above the cheekbones, to avoid the risk of eye damage
• Directly after sunbathing. Please wait at least 48 hours before starting a new treatment. Ideally, protect your skin with sunscreen SPF 30+ two weeks before treatment.
• Diabetics, as they may have a reduced pain sensation and thus may not notice an overexposure of the skin.
• Use of the laser device by women above the cheekbones
• Use of the laser device by men above the collarbone area

Please only use the following hair and skin colours:

Darker hair types: Black and dark brown hair respond best.
Brown and light brown hair also respond, but usually require more hair removal sessions.
Red hair can show a certain effect.

Do not use on:
White, grey, or blonde hair: They typically do not respond to a light-based hair removal method, although some users have reported results after multiple hair removal sessions.
Dark skin: Light-based hair removal can have adverse effects, such as burns, blisters, and changes in skin colour (hyper- or hypopigmentation).

In Beurer IPL devices, a skin colour sensor is integrated, which measures the colour of the skin being treated at the beginning of each session and occasionally during the session. The skin colour sensor prevents further impulse output if it detects that the device is being used on too dark skin tones.

Yes, the device can be used by both women and men. However, men's hair typically requires more hair removal sessions than women's to achieve the best results, especially those on the chest. The device should not be used on men's faces or neck areas. Men can also use the device to remove unwanted hair, but not on the genitals (testicles, penis) or anus. Due to the sensitivity of the intimate areas, a lower energy setting is recommended.
